What is Core Materials Impact on Zirconia Strength about?

This study investigates the impact of different core build-up materials on the biaxial flexural strength of a new monolithic strength-gradient zirconia. Results indicate that while Tetric N-Ceram exhibited significantly higher strength than MultiCore Flow, the core materials did not affect the strength of the zirconia itself. The findings suggest that the choice of composite core material may not influence the performance of zirconia restorations in terms of flexural strength.
