About this document
Understanding Possessive Pronouns by Sónia Baptista is a document available to read on EtoBox.
A possessive pronoun represents something that belongs to someone. Common possessive pronouns are mine, yours, his, hers, ours, and theirs. Possessive pronouns are different from possessive adjectives in that possessive pronouns are not followed by a noun and replace the noun. Several exercises are provided to practice using possessive pronouns correctly in sentences.
