What is D&D 5E Variant Rule: Spell Points about?

This document describes an optional variant rule called Spell Points that provides spellcasters flexibility by giving them a pool of points to spend on casting spells of any level, rather than a fixed number of spell slots. It details how many points different spell levels cost, and how point pools increase with class level for various spellcasting classes. The rule aims to increase flexibility while adding complexity over the standard spell slot system.
