What is Movie Plans at WAVE Cinema about?

John invites Sam to go watch a movie since Sam has nothing to do. Sam is concerned they may not get tickets since it is Sunday, but John assures him that there are multiple theaters in the area with a total of 12 screens, so good movie tickets should be available. They agree to watch The Time Machine, which Sam read a good review about. They plan to meet at 5:30pm, with Sam suggesting near the Barista coffee house instead of the bus stop.
