This document provides instructions for building a foot-powered catamaran with two pontoons joined by cross members. Paddles are hinged to a crosspiece above the deck and swing back on the drive stroke to propel the catamaran. With some modifications, the catamaran can also be used as a sailboat by attaching a mast, sail, boom and rudder. A simple bracket is also described to attach an outboard motor to a canoe for motorized transportation.
