What is Length–weight relationships of three fish species from Dayang River, northeast China about?

Length-weight relationships (LWRs) are widely used for studying general fish ecology and for understanding the pattern of somatic growth (Froese, 2006), They are not only appropriate for estimating weight from length, but are also useful for fisheries management, provided additional and essential parameters are determined at the same time (e.g. sex ratio, growth rate, age at first maturity, fecundity, and recruitment). Given the fact that basic biological information for most freshwater fish species in China remains scarce (Tang et al., 2015), we here estimated the LWRs for three fish species from Dayang River in Liaoning province, northeast China.
