What is Sudama about?

Sudama, a devotee of Krishna, visits Krishna at his palace in Dwaraka at the urging of his wife. Though poor, Sudama only brings a small bundle of chipped rice for Krishna. Krishna receives Sudama with great love and respect, washing his feet and embracing him. Krishna is pleased with the humble gift from Sudama. Afterwards, Sudama returns home to find that his hut has been replaced by an opulent palace, a gift from Krishna in response to Sudama
