The Mo Ibrahim Foundation provides two PhD scholarships per year to SOAS for African students pursuing Governance for Development in Africa. The scholarship covers tuition for three years and living expenses for the first and third years. Students are expected to conduct fieldwork during the second year and write their thesis in their home country in the third year.
