The study evaluated the processing performance of 43 Coffea canephora genotypes by measuring the relationship between ripe fruit volume and weight to dried green coffee weight. The results showed that this relationship varied by up to 30.4% between genotypes. Genotypes with a lower percentage of seeds in each fruit had lower yields and a higher ratio of ripe fruit weight to dried green coffee weight. Some genotypes required less than 315 liters of ripe coffee to produce one 60-kg bag of green coffee beans.
