What is OCT as Vision Marker in Pediatric OPG about?

This review examines the use of optical coherence tomography (OCT) as a potential marker of vision in children with optic pathway gliomas. Eleven studies met the eligibility criteria and were included in the review. Both neurofibromatosis-1 associated and sporadic optic pathway gliomas were investigated. The review found that retinal OCT is a promising tool that could be used as a screening or follow-up test in children with optic pathway gliomas, and further multicenter research is encouraged.
