What is Music Genre Classification with ML about?

This paper proposes a new methodological approach for classifying and recognizing music genres using machine learning classifiers. The authors develop models using Support Vector Machine (SVM), k-nearest neighbor (k-NN), Probabilistic Neural Network (PNN) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). They find that CNN achieves the highest accuracy of 98.9% for classifying music genres.
