1) Joe Campisi met with Jack Ruby in the Dallas County Jail on November 30, 1963 after receiving a call from Captain Decker that Ruby wanted to see him. 2) During their 10 minute conversation, Ruby cried and said he felt sorry for Mrs. Kennedy and her kids, but gave no indication why he killed Oswald or if he knew him before. 3) Campisi had known Ruby since 1948 but was not close with him. He was surprised Ruby had a gun and $2,000 when arrested since Ruby was usually frugal.
