The International Cervantino Festival was held for the 39th year in Guanajuato City, Mexico from October 12-30, 2011. The guest countries were Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden and the state of Nayarit. Over 2,800 artists from 29 countries performed opera, music, dance, theater, visual arts, cinema and literature.
