Eufemia San Agustin-Magsino and her siblings inherited a parcel of land from their parents. Eufemia executed a deed of sale for her share and portions belonging to some of her siblings to the Pahuds. However, one sibling, Virgilio, refused to sign. Virgilio then bought out the shares of the other siblings. The issue was whether the initial sale to the Pahuds was valid. The Supreme Court upheld the validity of the sale to the Pahuds with respect to Eufemia and one sibling
