The Supreme Court of the Philippines upheld the conviction of Manuel Aplat y Sublino and Jackson Danglay y Botil for selling marijuana to an undercover police officer. Police conducted a buy-bust operation where an informant set up a drug deal. During the transaction, police arrested Aplat and Danglay and recovered marijuana. Both were found guilty at trial and on appeal. The Supreme Court found no reason to overturn the lower courts
