About this document

Geopolitical Risk Impact on Renewable Energy by MAINAK PRAMANIK is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study examines the relationships between renewable energy markets and geopolitical risk (GPR) and economic uncertainty indices (EUI) using data from March 2012 to April 2022. The findings indicate that renewable energy indices respond differently to GPR and EUI, with a positive correlation observed during the COVID-19 pandemic and a decreased effect noted during the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The results suggest that renewable energy may serve as a hedge against economic uncertainty and geopolitical risk
