This document provides a preliminary flight evaluation report of the NASA Applications Technological Satellite-1 (ATS-1) launch vehicle, which successfully launched a 1550 lb payload into orbit on December 6, 1966. The flight consisted of four phases: an Atlas boost, an Agena first burn, an Agena/spacecraft coasting phase, and an Agena second burn. All vehicle systems performed satisfactorily except for a momentary drop in engine chamber pressure during the Agena second burn, which had no impact on results.
