Autopsy Findings in 264 Suicidal Hangings by randul is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This autopsy study analyzed 264 cases of suicidal hanging from 7968 autopsies conducted between 2010 and 2013, revealing that the majority of victims were married, aged 31-40, and belonged to low socioeconomic classes. The study found that the most common ligature materials were stoles and saris, with 88% of cases being complete hangings and 80.58% showing discontinuity in ligature marks. Domestic issues were identified as the primary motivating factor for self-suspension, particularly among female victims.
