What is SWMS Webstore Wire Loss Guide about?

This document provides wire loss tables for solar electric systems at 12, 24, and 120 volts to determine the appropriate wire gauge for running power over distances. It includes examples of how to use the tables and also converts between American Wire Gauge (AWG) sizes and metric measurements. Distances shown take into account a 25% safety factor above rated amperage as required by electrical codes.
