What is Meal Timing and BMI in Adventists about?

This study investigates the relationship between meal frequency and timing and changes in body mass index (BMI) among a cohort of 50,660 adults from the Adventist Health Study 2. Results indicate that eating fewer meals per day, having a long overnight fast, consuming breakfast, and making breakfast the largest meal are associated with reduced BMI. The findings suggest that these eating patterns may be effective strategies for preventing long-term weight gain.
