This document describes the case of a 4-year-old boy with refractive accommodative esotropia. At age 2, he was noted to have eye crossing which improved partially with glasses. On examination at age 4, his vision was corrected to 20/20 with glasses but he had intermittent eye turning inward (esotropia) of 30 prism diopters without glasses that resolved with glasses.
