About this document

EIS Analysis of SCC in Pipeline Steel by znhhjtpvv7 is a document available to read on EtoBox.

The study investigates the initiation of stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in X80 pipeline steel under disbonded coatings in a near-neutral pH environment using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Results indicate that the steel is in an active dissolution state, with a decreasing charge transfer resistance observed as the distance from the coating opening increases. A shielding factor is proposed to characterize the shielding effect of disbondment on the stress corrosion of pipeline steels.
