ABAS and SBAS systems provide augmentation to GNSS constellations to improve integrity, accuracy, and availability. ABAS includes RAIM and AAIM which use onboard receiver algorithms and sensors to detect failures and improve positioning. RAIM can detect (FD) or detect and exclude (FDE) faulty satellites. SBAS like WAAS and EGNOS use ground and geostationary satellite networks to broadcast corrections improving accuracy to 1-2 meters. They provide integrity alerts within 5 seconds if errors exceed thresholds
