## Abstract Four of eight children with advanced neuroblastoma treated with a rapid delivery high dose intensity cisplatin based regimen developed acute neurological toxicity. Three had seizures and one developed transient blindness. In the absence of other causes it seems probable that high dose cisplatin (200 mg/m^2^) as a continuous infusion over five days followed 10 days later by 80 mg/m^2^ infused over 48 hours was responsible. Other risk factors included an associated deterioration in renal function and neutropenia related fever.
