World coffee production for 2020/21 is forecast to be 175.5 million bags, up 7 million bags from the previous year. Brazil accounts for most of the increase, with its Arabica crop in its high production year and record Robusta output. Global exports and ending stocks are also expected to rise as production outpaces consumption. Coffee prices have fallen slightly from recent highs. Vietnam production is forecast lower due to dry weather early in the growing season.
