1) Mrs. M was admitted to the emergency room with a diagnosis of acute abdomen secondary to a ruptured pregnancy and consent was obtained for an emergency laparotomy. 2) At 8:51pm, a subarachnoid block was administered and at 9:02pm an emergency laparotomy was started which resulted in the removal of the left fallopian tube at 9:24pm. 3) Post-operatively, the patient was monitored and given a blood transfusion due to pale appearance. She was advised on gradual ambulation and reporting any issues.
