About this document

Cataract Surgery Outcomes in Central Nepal by Research TUTH ICU is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigates the clinical characteristics and visual outcomes of cataract surgery patients at a tertiary care hospital in central Nepal. A total of 138 patients were analyzed, revealing that 91.9% achieved normal or near-normal visual acuity after surgery, although many presented late with complications. The findings highlight the need for improved access to cataract treatment in rural areas to prevent late presentations and associated visual impairments.
