About this document

High-Hydrophobic Bi-layer Indicators for Beef Freshness by Phoenix TNT is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study explores the fabrication of high-hydrophobic bilayer indicators for beef freshness visualization using sodium alginate-polyvinyl alcohol and chitosan-zein with alizarin@ZIF-8. Two methods, casting and electrospinning, were compared, revealing that the electrospun films exhibited superior UV-blocking, faster spoilage response, and higher sensitivity to freshness indicators. The findings highlight the potential of these intelligent films in enhancing food safety and reducing waste.
