This study examined changes in self-perception in women with breast cancer using self-figure drawings before and after diagnosis. The drawings of 70 breast cancer survivors were analyzed using 7 indices related to physical features. Three indices - hair, body outline, and eyes - showed differences pre-and-post cancer, expressing disillusionment, distress, and reduced sense of femininity.
