What is 3D-Printed Chitosan-Laponite Scaffolds about?

This study investigates the effectiveness of novel 3D-printed methacrylated chitosan-laponite nanosilicate composite scaffolds in enhancing cell growth and biomineral formation in MC3T3 pre-osteoblasts. The results show that the MAC-Lp scaffolds significantly improve cell viability and biomineralization compared to methacrylated gelatin-laponite scaffolds. The findings suggest that these composite scaffolds could be a promising alternative for bone tissue engineering applications.
