ABSTRACT In this paper, for formulating rules, we are using modified BPSO based on mutation function. Association rules are generated without specifying minimum support and confidence which improves the drawback of apriori, Fp-growth algorithm. In proposed method, the problem of convergence in BPSO is improved using mutation part of Genetic Algorithm and also comparing the results of BPSO and modified BPSO.
