This document describes the development of a modified Grouping Genetic Algorithm (GGA) to identify optimal ambulance locations. The GGA was applied to a real case study to locate ambulances from alternative locations based on emergency calls. The results showed improved response times and the impacts of changing ambulance numbers at different locations.
