What is Agusan del Norte: Overview and History about?

Agusan del Norte is a province located in the Caraga region of Mindanao in the Philippines. Its capital is Cabadbaran. Originally part of the province of Surigao during Spanish colonial rule, Agusan was separated from Surigao in 1911 to become its own province. In 1967, Agusan was further divided into the two provinces of Agusan del Norte and Agusan del Sur. The population of Agusan del Norte was 552,849 according to the 2000 census.
