This study investigates the seismic responses of two types of bucket foundations for offshore wind turbines, namely mono bucket foundation (MBF) and composite bucket foundation (CBF), through shaking table tests. The results indicate that the CBF exhibits significantly better anti-liquefaction performance compared to the MBF, as the seismic response of the soil inside the CBF is suppressed, reducing the risk of liquefaction.
