This style of agreement stands in contrast to the siloed approach currently applied to aquifer resources. Using case studies, and an activity inspired by gaming concepts to explore the incentives, and challenges to aquifer governance approaches, this book demonstrates how application of the principles of unitization agreements to aquifers could provide a new approach to aquifer governance models.
