This case report describes a woman who developed transient fetal anhydramnios after taking the NSAID mefenamic acid during pregnancy. Ultrasounds showed normal amniotic fluid levels until 32 weeks gestation, when no amniotic fluid was detected. Cessation of the NSAID led to normal amniotic fluid levels returning within a week with no ill effects on the newborn.
