What is Self-Assessment for TA Deployment about?

This self-assessment guide provides descriptors for evaluating the effectiveness of teaching assistant deployment and interactions in the classroom. It addresses seven recommendations: 1) deployment of TAs in the classroom; 2) interactions between TAs and pupils; 3) preparation and training for teachers and TAs; and delivering targeted interventions. The guide describes ineffective, improving, and exemplary practices for each recommendation to help schools assess current practices and monitor progress towar
