Pilots were subjected to strenuous night flights with limited sleep deprivation and their risk proneness was assessed using mood and alertness scales as well as a new Evaluation of Risks scale. The pilots reported an increase in impulsiveness compared to baseline data, while the risk factors on the EVAR scale remained consistent for a control group of navy crew members. Correlations were observed between mood/alertness and risk factors. The results illustrate how the EVAR scale can evaluate changes in risk
