The EASTBOURNE registry evaluated the safety and efficacy of a novel sirolimus-coated balloon (SCB) in treating coronary artery disease in a diverse population. The study enrolled 2,123 patients across 38 centers, revealing a 12-month target lesion revascularization (TLR) rate of 5.9% and major adverse clinical events rate of 9.9%. Results indicated that the SCB is a promising alternative to drug-eluting stents, particularly for patients with in-stent restenosis.
