What is Naxal Affected People Rehabilitation in Chattisgarh about?

The National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) has urged the Chhattisgarh government to create a rehabilitation plan for Scheduled Tribe families displaced by Maoist conflict since 2005, inspired by the Bru resettlement framework. The NCST emphasizes the need for minimum entitlements for returnees, including land, livelihood support, and essential infrastructure. This initiative aims to provide durable solutions for displaced families and improve their access to welfare and rights.
