This study presents a ten-year retrospective analysis of benign tumors of the jawbones in Yaounde, Cameroon, focusing on their distribution, diagnostic characteristics, and histopathologic types. A total of 89 patients were examined, revealing a predominance of odontogenic tumors, particularly ameloblastoma, with a male to female ratio of 0.62 and a mean patient age of 30.74 years. The findings indicate both similarities and differences when compared to global reports on benign jawbone tumors.
