What is Vaginal Prolapse Correction in Ewe about?

This case report describes the successful correction of a vaginal prolapse in a pregnant ewe. The ewe presented with a 15cm prolapsed vagina and was depressed and straining. Epidural anesthesia was administered and the prolapse was cleaned, decontaminated, and gently repositioned. A purse string suture was applied to the vulva for retention. Antibiotics were administered for 5 days to prevent infection. The suture was removed after 8 days with no recurrence, and the ewe delivered normally two weeks later.
