Can I read Process Monitoring in Fermentors and Living Plants by Membrane Inlet Mass Spectrometry on EtoBox?
Process Monitoring in Fermentors and Living Plants by Membrane Inlet Mass Spectrometry by S. Bohátka is a Chemistry article available to read on EtoBox.
What is Process Monitoring in Fermentors and Living Plants by Membrane Inlet Mass Spectrometry about?
Membrane inlets and mass spectrometer systems have been constructed to measure gases and volatile components dissolved in liquids. These systems have been successfully applied in fermentation processes for the continuous monitoring of dissolved and headspace gases in fermentors. Methods for the detection of some non-volatile components are also shown. Similar systems have been used to measure gases in living plants. This unique method makes it possible to monitor gas exchange in plants, a process characteristic to the plant and its physical, chemical and biological environment. Instrumental aspects and methodology are covered rather than the problems of biotechnology and biology.
