There will be two solar eclipses and two lunar eclipses in 2004. The first solar eclipse on April 19th will be partial and visible from parts of Africa and Antarctica. The first lunar eclipse on May 4th will be total and best seen from the Eastern Hemisphere. The second solar eclipse on October 14th will be partial and visible from parts of Asia and Alaska. The second lunar eclipse on October 28th will be another total eclipse well placed for viewing in North America.
