The complexes C5 HS RUG SR (R = C6 F5 or CH3 ) undergo photochemical conversion to binuclear and trim&ear derivatives which exhibit isomerism. A novel rearrangement has been detected for [C, Hs Ru(CO)(SC6 FS )] 2 . Discussion Similar derivatives of each metal of a triad frequently exhibit wide differences in behaviour, the tendency towards polyuuclear complex formation being more pronounced with second and third row metals.
