What is Partial Molar Enthalpy of Glycerol-Water about?

This document describes an experiment to determine the partial molar enthalpies of glycerol and water. Eight glycerol-water mixtures were prepared and their molar enthalpies of mixing were measured using a coffee cup calorimeter. The obtained molar enthalpy values were plotted against mole fraction and fitted to equations to estimate the partial molar enthalpy of each component.
