What is Anaemia Prevention in Pregnant Women in Ghana about?

This study assessed the knowledge and adherence to anaemia prevention strategies among pregnant women in Juaboso District, Ghana. Findings revealed that only 13.5% of women had high knowledge of anaemia, and less than half (39.1%) adhered to the prevention strategies, with significant associations found between knowledge and factors such as education and ethnicity. The study recommends enhanced education and sensitization programs to improve awareness and adherence to these strategies among pregnant women.
