1) This study prospectively examined 323 patients with syncope and bundle branch block who underwent a systematic 3-phase diagnostic approach. 2) The diagnostic approach established a cause of syncope in 82.7% of patients, most commonly bradyarrhythmia. 3) Based on the findings, 220 patients received a pacemaker, 19 received an ICD, and 3 underwent radiofrequency ablation.
