This study investigated the use of eggshell powder as an adsorbent for removing phosphate from aqueous solutions. Batch experiments were conducted to determine the effects of pH, adsorbent dose, contact time, and initial phosphate concentration on adsorption. Maximum phosphate removal of 94.2% was achieved at alkaline pH of 12, with an adsorbent dose of 0.5g/50ml and a contact time of 30 minutes.
