It includes code to create templates of letters and numbers, a function to detect letters in an image by comparing it to the templates, and code to detect and crop the number plate from an image and read the letters. The project was done by students Hafsa, Laiba and Aiman Munawer for their Digital Image Processing course at NUST under the guidance of Dr. Naeem ul Islam.
